CHEVIOT SHEEP SHOW REPORTS 2022

The judge, David Goodfellow, picked out a shearling from James Common & Son, Crossdykes as his champion. This shearling is by the £5,500 Becks Revolution who sired the £20,000 Becks Sir Alex which sold to Tom Elliot, Hindhope last October. Reserve male champion, also from Crossdykes, was the three-shear Mountbenger Ace of Diamonds by Crossdykes Optimus out of a Catslack Ace dam.

In the females, the judge found his reserve champion from the shorn ewe class, a three-crop ewe by from W N Douglas, Catslack. Standing reserve female champion was the winner of the unshorn ewe class from J F Irving & Son, Mountbenger. This two-crop ewe is by Crossdykes Optimus out of a Catslack Ace dam.
